Beginner’s Guide to Macros in Aion 2
Macros in Aion 2 let you chain skills and actions with one key, making combat smoother and more efficient. They are useful for PvE grinding, dungeon farming, boss rotations, and basic PvP combos.Getting Started
Press U to open the Macro window
Click New to create a macro
Enter a name and pick an icon
Add commands line by line and drag the macro to your hotbar
Basic Commands
Skill usage: /Skill Skill Name
Item usage: /Use Item Name
Delay between actions: /Delay 1.2
Targeting: /Target EnemyName or /Select EnemyName
Example Combo
/Skill Swift Strike
/Delay 1.0
/Skill Power Smash
/Delay 1.1
/Skill Piercing Blow
Keep macros short with 3 to 4 skills per combo for better control and flexibility.
Auto-Macro and Animation Canceling
Auto-Macro can be enabled in the settings. Holding a key will cycle through your combo automatically. Place basic attacks between skills to fill animation gaps and increase damage.
Delay Tips
Adjust delays based on your ping:
Low ping: 0.8 to 1.0 seconds
Medium ping: 1.1 to 1.3 seconds
High ping: 1.4 to 1.6 seconds
Caution with Third-Party Software
External macro programs can be risky and may trigger anti-cheat warnings. It is safest to use the in-game macro system.
Start with small, simple macros to learn your class timing. Good macros save time, improve DPS, and make gameplay smoother.
